The location, which is quite convenient.
The room was very dirty, very small, with no air conditioned. I would rate this hotel as a good one-star hotel, or an average two-star hotel. It does not have the required quality to be rated as a three-star hotel. Finally, in my opinion, this hotel is highly overrated (7,1) by the users of Booked.net.
Close to Gare du Nord and the Metro, staff spoke English and very friendly, comfortable.
The neighborhood is quite noisy, very small lift.
Different to other customers, my room had a curtain in the bathroom. In the reception, the lady who was in the mornings was very nice and kind. There are some snacks and softdrinks in the reception. Much noise in my room but I liked it, it's Paris !!!
I don't know why they have a dog in the reception, it's disgusting. They could improve the way they manage reservations (in a book, written by hand) or how they control the bags when tourists want to leave them and go to visit Paris. Room was not a double bed but two twin beds together.
Cleanliness of our room and its location.
Not as friendly as expected.
Best value for money
They have feedback papaer in rooms but they did not have pen with it -:)
Well located hotel in Paris that is easy to get to from Eurostar. You will struggle to find better value for money. Staff were generally helpful.
We ordered a cot for our baby but we did not get it till the second night which was disappointing.
The location was great.
The shower/bath and the one english cannel. I didn't like that I had to hand in my key.
Near to 2 train stations... its good when u are travelling by train n leaving paris by train also.
Great location. Friendly English speaking staff.
An old run down building with uneven floors, old/dirty carpets and really old furniture. Probably doesn't deserve a 3 star rating.
I was in East hotel, for a visit of paris, but personnally i think
that this hotel, does not deserve a 3 stars, but well a 2 stars.
The toilet was small and there were no shower curtain. Hence after every shower the whole bathroom became wet. However the room and toilet is acceptably clean. Good for travelers who are out of the hotel during the day and back at night for sleep. The staff are friendly and smiley but speak very little English. The location is great and there are many supermarkets and eateries around the area. Overall a good experience.
Very good location, just 5 minutes walks to the main station - Gare du East, and 2 minutes to the nearest metro station.
Hotel is 3 stars, room was for 2. Towels, left on the floor was not changed
The rooms are in good condition and clean, which was surprising given the rate we paid. The staff are friendly, and can understand basic English (it varies with the individual). The location is quite good with respect public transportation (near a few bus routes, and at least 3 metro stations within a 10-minute walk). However, the neighbourhood may not be the best - its not sketchy, but its also not downtown Paris. The room was relatively spacious, and had a desk & chair, two nightstands and a large armoire (wardrobe closet). Overall, a very nice stay.
the carpets were extremely dirty and they advertised soundproofed rooms and mine definitely was not. extremely noisy
